It’s is being heavily regulated and, in some cases, restricted due to the over sourcing of the sandalwood tree and the damage that the uncontrolled and unregulated harvesting caused to many jungles and areas. It is currently on the list of protected trees and it’s categorized as Vulnerable!
Pure Indian: this is pure Indian sandalwood oil extracted through steam distillation, the same way it was made hundreds of years ago, additionally this oil is distilled with the maximum possible potency and concentration.
Mysore sandalwood oil: this is real Mysore sandalwood oil from the state of Karnataka in southern India which was also known as The Kingdom of Mysore hence the name Mysore oil.
Unmixed, undiluted, untreated: we are not going to make any assumptions or accusations, but we strongly doubt that you (or anyone else) will find pure sandalwood oil that is not mixed, diluted, or treated being sold online or anywhere else for this price.
The opening/ first nose: sandal, sandal, sandal, lots of it with hints of cedarwood, smoky wood notes, vanilla, and fruits.
