More than 100 years ago, when my great-grandfather Sayed Abdul Gafour Al Attar made and distilled some of the rarest and most expensive oils in history for Sultan Abdul Hamid II. My grandfather commissioned the ruler of Nagaland in India to source the highest equality agarwood from the oldest trees. A region is known for its highest quality agarwood and oldest trees, and most skilled Perfumists. Even the lowest quality oud oil they distilled at that time was better and higher quality than the oud oil we can distill these days. Simply because of the availability of the wild, raw agarwood, the low cost for skilled labor, and the fact that people like Sultan Abdul Hamid II spared no expense in making the best of the best. 

This oil was the highest quality oud oil ever distilled in that region and probably one of the highest quality Oud oils ever distilled in history. Not only the pods and wood that went in the pods were hand-selected, but the trees that the wood came from were hand-selected. Also, distilled on the lowest fire for three consecutive days, the oil extract, which was extremely limited and expensive, was placed into hand-blown bottles imprinted by master calligraphers with verses from the Holy Quran, only so it can be placed and presented on handmade 14 karat gold and silver embroidered on natural silk with the official tughra of Sultan Abdul Hamid II as you can see on this video, the oil, the bottles, the scarf are all original, this is our gift to the world.
